first of several Iberostar All-Adult Luxury Resorts to be built in the
Caribbean. This 80 year old company is taking their reputation for solid
service and great amenities to a different level with the advent of this
phenomenal resort product.
AMENITIES

The Grand Hotel is a true
five-star resort built to European standards with white glove restaurant
service, amazing salt water pools, and state of the art spa facilities.
Every room is assigned a butler and a concierge desk serves each floor.
You will have complete run of the entire Iberostar Paraiso complex, but
you will not want to leave the luxury of the Grand Hotel. The staff was
drawn from the best of the best along the Riviera Maya and it shows.
Impeccable standards produce first class service unmatched in the
region.
ROOMS

 There
are 310 Suites and 10 Honeymoon Villa Suites. Each of the suites has an
extra large veranda with a couch, a hanging wicker chair, tables and a
retractable drying rack. The suite features an oversized bathroom with a
Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, two sinks and upgraded bath amenities.
There is a couch, a desk, TV with DVD player, clock radio with iPod
dock, refrigerator stocked with premium liquor, beer and wine and an
iron with ironing board. A butler is assigned to each room and a
concierge desk is located on each floor. Both may be reached by phone.

Ocean Front Suites:
Located in two buildings between the largest pool and the extra wide
white sand beach. Directly facing the beach and the Caribbean.

Ocean View Suites:
In the main building located between all three pools. These rooms
will be in the upper floors with the ocean visible, but not directly
or without obstruction.

Standard Suites: In
the lower levels of the main building. These rooms will have views
of the gardens, buildings and possibly a pool.

Honeymoon Villa Suites:
Each villa has a private pool and ultimate privacy.
POOLS

 Three
large pools are ready to cool off the guests of the Grand Hotel. Each of
these pools has adjacent hot tubs and the two outdoor pools have butler
service. The Main Salt Water Pool has a swim up bar, a very large
sunning area where the beach chairs are in a few inches of water and two
water fountains located at each end of the pool. The ocean and beach are
visible from this pool. The Large Fresh Water Pool is located to the
side of the main building and has beautiful landscaping with porticos, vines
and lounge chairs. There is an indoor pool with in the spa atrium with
a smoothie bar and plenty of windows.
ACTIVITIES (top)
 Guests
are free to choose their own activities. There is an activity staff that
will organize pool and beach games. Pool tables, internet café, theater and
cigar room are located around the atrium in the main building.
Adjacent to the property is an 18-hole golf course designed by P.B. Dye.
Each guest of the Iberostar Grand Hotel with a minimum four-night stay gets
one free round of golf.
Diving for beginners to advanced include night
dives, cenote dives and local dives. Scuba clinics and nitrox courses
available. CDC PADI.
Two tennis courts are located on-site and more at
the adjacent properties.
 Other activities include aerobics, table tennis, windsurfing, biking, hobie
cat sailing and kayaking. For an extra cost Jet Skis and parasailing is also
offered.
Fitness center with indoor pool, weights, sauna, hot tubs and
aerobic equipment located next to the main building. The Dive Shop can set
up catamaran or fishing tours, snorkel trips to Cozumel or Isla Mujeres and
many other places of interest in the area.
Daily shuttle bus to Playa
del Carmen free of charge.
Marina Maroma is a five minute taxi ride
away.
SPA SERVICES

 Guests
of the Iberostar Grand will get VIP access to the Iberostar’s new 32,000
square foot spa located at the Iberostar Shops across the drive way from the
lobby. There is also an on-site spa for guests that has an indoor pool, hot
tubs, a smoothie bar and a fitness room with weights.
All of this is at no additional
charge. Treatments are available in the spa, at the pool and on the beach
for an additional charge.

are four a la carte specialty restaurants, two with ocean views,
plus two gourmet buffets and 24-Hour all-inclusive room service.
Reservations are required
for the specialty restaurants at no additional charge. Each dining
room has a beautifully designed theme with all-gourmet all-inclusive

are bars and lounges located throughout the property.
All drinks whether
alcoholic or not are included at all bars and restaurants. This
service includes international and Mexican domestic fine wines,
premium brand liquor, domestic beers plus Heineken, Budweiser, Bud
Light, Miller and Miller Lite.
The lobby bar is open
to the atrium and provides a modern contrast to the classical design
of the atrium. Martini & Cigar Bar is in a paneled den like room off
the atrium near the lobby. There is a night club nearby with
bar and table service. A swim-up bar is located in the salt
water pool and serves the pool using butler service. All of
the Restaurants have full bar service. |
