This gorgeous resort is a part
of the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Complex which includes five resorts. It is
located 30 minutes south of Cancun and 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen
near Puerto Morelos. The Iberostar Resort Company of Spain has been around
for over 80 years and has their technique down. Each one of their resorts
has a great reputation for solid service and great amenities.

 With the option of using
most of the facilities of four neighboring resorts, the Lindo will seem
larger than it is. Not all of your neighbors can use the Lindo’s
facilities, however. It boasts the Mayan Riviera’s only wave pool, just
one of the six diverse pools at this beachfront paradise. Delicious
cuisine at seven restaurants, beautiful grounds with fountains, art and
flare, a gigantic remote beach and great personal service set this mega
resort apart from the others.

448 rooms and junior suites
in three-story buildings, surrounding a central patio area. Balconies
overlook the gardens or the pool. Each room has a terrace or balcony,
marble bathroom, mini bar, hair dryer, satellite TV, direct dial phone
and coffee maker.
There are a select few of
the junior suites with a Jacuzzi bath tub on the terrace. These are
booked based on availability the day of arrival. There are also a couple
of Presidential Suites available. Each building has a concierge to help
with dinner reservations and other needs.
POOLS

 Six pools including: Wave
Pool, Lazy River, Activities pool, Children’s Pool with Misters, Two massive
lake-like pools with water falls, hot tubs, shallow sunning areas and a huge
swim-up bar underneath the ice cream bar.
Plus a very wide white sand
beach called Playa Paraiso with beautiful Caribbean waves to swim in. Their
secluded beach has palapas, beach volleyball, kayaks and other water sports
available.

Adjacent to the property is an
18-hole golf course designed by P.B. Dye and opened in 2005.
Diving for beginners to advanced include night dives, cenote dives and local
dives. Scuba clinics and nitrox courses available. CDC PADI.

For an extra cost Jet Skis and

The Dive Shop can set up catamaran or fishing tours, snorkel trips to
Cozumel or Isla Mujeres and many other places of interest in the area.
Lucy’s Mini-Club for children where 4 to 12 years olds will enjoy supervised
activities, including games, singing, painting, sand castle building, flora
and fauna excursions and swimming in kid’s pool. Daily shuttle bus to
Playa del Carmen free of charge. Marina Maroma is a five minute taxi
ride away.

 The Lindo has a well appointed
spa with various treatment options plus hot tubs, suana, locker room and
fitness center.

In addition to the seven
specialty restaurants located at the Lindo, guests may also dine around at
the neighboring resorts including the Paraiso del Mar, the Paraiso Beach and
all but two of the restaurants of the Paraiso Maya. Reservations are
required for dinner at all restaurants.

BARS

All drinks whether alcoholic or
not are included at all bars and restaurants. The lobby bar has a
beautiful circular aquarium as a centerpiece and a relaxing covered outdoor
area surrounded by water. The cigar bar is more private and, well,
smoky.
The theater bar is located in
the entertainment palapa which towers overhead and is visible from the
highway and the ocean. The swim-up bar is located in the largest pool
underneath the ice cream bar. The pool bar is open during the day and
is located in the Pool Buffet Restaurant. All of the Restaurants have
full bar service.
