hand-loomed bedding and rugs, even the products for spa treatments are

Maroma Resort is a small
resort with the services of a large one. Besides the incredible Mayan
inspired spa, the gourmet cuisine, excellent beverage service and the
romantic rooms and suites, they offer round-trip airport transfers,
complimentary breakfast daily and reef diving in front of the property.
The tropical gardens lead you through stone doorways, by pools tucked
away in flower filled courtyards, alongside fountains, to the beautiful
wide white sand beach stretched before the aqua Caribbean waters which
lap gently on the shoreline.

465 rooms and suites are
nestled in a lush tropical landscape, some open to the shimmering
Caribbean seascape. Fashioned from stucco, hand-hewn wood and iron works
and furnished with mahogany and leather furniture crafted on the

– Facing the beach and the beautiful Caribbean Sea which dominates
the view from private terrace.

Bedroom has a sitting area, open bath includes a dressing area and
outdoor terrace is furnished as living space with ocean views.

Unobstructed panoramic ocean views from outdoor terrace and large
living room. Suite also include a mini-bar.

Sian Nah Suites –
Mayan for “House of Heaven” these ultra luxurious ocean front suites
are designed with space for spa treatments and fitness equipment.
They feature large living rooms, covered outdoor terraces with
chaise lounges, private plunge pools and outdoor showers. Oversized
bathroom has elevated amenities and room comes with several extras
including beach hat, Maroma cap and beach bag. Each suite has
private access.

- Because the resort is surrounded by an incredible reef teeming with
life, you can enjoy underwater panoramas without having to take a long
bus ride. PADI certification, open water reef dives, nights dives,
cenote dives and Nitrox dives are arranged on site and rental equipment

Kinan Spa is a unique and
healing space that offers a wide range environments including couples
treatment suites, open-air massage palapas and a roof top yoga palapa with
360 degree views. The 7,000 square feet of the spa was hand-crafted by the
same family of Mayan stonemasons that are responsible for Maroma’s stone
work over the past 30 years. The have aligned each treatment room, waterfall
and building based on the Mayan Sacred Geometry to ensure positive energy
flow. Indeed the name, Kinan, is a Mayan for “energy of the sun.” A 560
square foot wellness center featuring state of the art Cybex equipment,
treadmills, stationary bikes, arc trainer, free weights and cable weight
machines. Personal trainers for weights or yoga plus other classes available
at additional cost. The Maya Temazcal or sweat lodge is located on the
beach where at dusk ritualistic treatments are offered that include
chanting, meditation, enriched mineral mud bath and finish with an ocean
plunge.
